| The electro-harmonix company, among other things (like great analog effects devices for musicians), is a well-known manufacturer of vacuum tubes, so it shouldn't really be a surprise that they've come up with something VERY useful to folks (like us) who love tube electronics. What IS surprising is that, as far as we know, they're the FIRST to offer this particular product: a simple, safe way to remove tubes from their sockets, even when they're STILL WARM! Look carefully at this deceptively simple device (on the right) and you'll see that it allows one to remove big power tubes as well as small preamp types with ease.
